Central Manager

The Central Manager page displays information about the regional and branch offices (if any) that are configured in your VCX system. The page includes the following information:

lSite ID— Displays the unique value, configured during VCX software installation, that identifies a particular server or group of servers in a multi-site VCX system.

lSite Type— Displays the type of VCX configuration at this site, either Regional or Branch. In this context, a VCX Connect server is considered a Regional site type.

lSite Name— Displays the a user-friendly description of the site configured during VCX software installation.

lTo manage a site using the VCX Administrator provisioning application, click the underlined site name of the office you want to manage. For additional information, refer to the VCX Administration Guide or see the application's online Help.

lTo change the site name, click the Modify button. 

lSite Access— Indicates whether or not you can access the site through the VCX Administrator provisioning application.

lPri IP Messaging Server— Displays the IP address of the primary IP Messaging server associated with the site.

lSec IP Messaging Server— Displays the IP address of the primary IP Messaging server associated with the site.

Click an underlined IP address to start of the IP Messaging Administrator provisioning application.

When the IP Messaging System login dialog box appears, you can log in as an administrator to manage all the voice mailboxes associated with VCX telephone extensions and manage IP Messaging system configuration options. Alternatively, you can log in to an individual mailbox.
