NBX NetSet™ Administration Utility

NetSet is an HTML-based web interface for configuring and managing the NBX 100. If you have a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, you have the client software you need to administer the NBX 100. The NetSet main menu is shown below.

NetSet requires no installation. It is provided through an embedded web server in the NBX 100. Passwords grant different levels of access privileges. Individual phone users can use NetSet to view or change their personal settings such as personal speed dial lists and ringing tones. The administrator password lets you manage user profiles and devices and change system parameters such as speed dial lists and dial plan settings.

NetSet Menus
The NetSet main menu is a window containing icons for accessing a set of menus and online documentation.

Dial Plan
The Dial Plan menu provides a set of tabbed windows for configuring and managing different aspects of the NBX 100 Dial Plan.

Devices
The Devices menu provides a set of windows for configuring and managing NBX 100 devices, including:

  • Telephones
  • Line Cards
  • Digital Line Cards
  • Analog Terminal Adapters
  • DSS/BLF Adjuncts

Downloads
The Downloads menu provides a set of windows for configuring and managing NBX 100 devices, including:

  • Optional Software
  • Telephone and Adjunct Label Makers.

Operations
The Operations menu provides a set of windows for configuring and managing NBX 100 system level operations, such as:

  • Software Upgrades
  • Rebooting and Shutting Down
  • Managing Data
  • Viewing and managing Event Logs
  • Installing licenses for optional software

Reports
The Reports menu provides a set of windows for viewing and managing NBX 100 reports, including:

  • Directory lists of users
  • Device List
  • System Data
  • Call Detail Reports

Users
The Users menu provides a set of windows for configuring and managing NBX 100 user level settings.

  • Call Pickup Groups
  • Hunt Groups
  • Classes of Service (CoS)

Voice Messaging
The Voice Messaging menu provides an interface for configuring and managing the NBX 100 Automated Attendants and system-wide voice mailbox settings.

System Settings
The System Settings menu provides an interface for configuring and managing the NBX 100 system level settings for the following:

  • Speed Dials
  • Business Identity
  • Security
  • TAPI Settings

NetSet Online Help
NetSet includes context sensitive online help that can provide you with quick answers to configuration questions.
